This is a guest post from Doll Diaries fan, Aqua, who took the American Girl Place NYC Harbor Cruise.

Last weekend my Grandmother, cousin, and I went to the AG Harbor cruise and dinner event. We got there a little early, so we had time to look around and spend our money. I found that the Isabelle movie was only $9.99 instead of $15.00, and so we bought it. At about 2:00 we checked in and got an American Girl bag that came with a magazine, a cheese stick, a bag of crackers, and a water bottle for each of us. At 2:15 we got on a bus and drove to Chelsea Piers and then loaded on to the boat. It wasn’t the nicest boat, but it was fun and relaxing and we had a great time. On the way, the attendants read facts about the Hudson River that related to American Girl historical characters including Rebecca and Kaya. We passed the Statue of Liberty and got amazing pictures of it. The cruise was approximately 65 minutes, but it felt like 15. Afterwards we got off and rode the bus back to the AG store in NYC. We had about an hour to shop before going to dinner at 5:30. The food was amazing and we loved how there was many goodies to bring home from the dinner, including a pink bow hair tie and a cup and saucer for your doll. We stayed until closing time (7:00) and rode the train home. That was probably one of the most fun days I’ve had in a long time.

Here are the pictures:

The trip was very fun and I recommend it for girls ages 8-12.
