Sara, ALOF dolls are supposed to be Christian role model dolls. They’re really cute, but I don’t think they’re eyes are supposed to open and close…
Their eyes are not sleep eyes, but they are all vinyl an beautifully painted and sculpted. And the clothess…..

When I went to Walmart, I saw, in the doll aisle, some 18 inch Madame Alexander dolls. They weren’t very pretty. They also had some clothes, but, they don’t fit the American Girls dolls very well.
Ava, the original books cover Elsie’s entire life, there;s one called Grandmother Elsie, even.
they are very pretty and so are htier clothes wheteher ur christina or not. i mean if u saw a very nice doll in the store and it had no story wiht it you could make up the story. its only marketed as christian. dont read the books and make up her story yourself. see what i mean?
its kinda silly to not like a nice doll because of marketing. its not like you have to buy one but i think they are nice.
i have seen a website where the dolls are marketed as jewish girls.
if you buy a just like you doll form american girl u make up the story so these dolls or any doll is absolutely no different.
of course it woudl be cool if more dolls were marketed as jewish girls.
