When we visited Aunt Kay last year and toured her massive Barbie collection, she gave Natalie a handful of her beloved Kelly dolls to bring home. Natalie set them all up in their little Halloween costumes earlier and took their picture. I just think the little alien Kelly with the purple hair is the cutest thing ever!

Firstie! No, I don’t have Kelly dolls. I don’t even have any Barbies. I do have a Ken doll though. My nana hates him because when I go over to her house I hide him on the toilet and stuff so when she comes in there Ken is there and it creeps her out.

Cute! The alien with purple hair is the cutest thing. No, I don’t have any Kelly’s. I have the Toy Story 3 Barbie and Ken (the Ken actually looks like he does in the movie) and a reproduction 1960 something teacher. I do have a little Ty doll that is the Kelly size and she makes a great little sister to my AG mini dolls.
They are so cute! I got rid of mine. I played with them when I was little.

Kelly! Wow, I used to have lots of little Kelly dolls when I was little.
One of my favorites was the potty training Kelly, which came with a pink outfit and toilet. I also loved playing with her mini pink Jeep, which I remember came with a Tommy doll as well. I also remember having a Kelly doll that came in a red outfit and a high chair, and she had a mechanism in her head that made it turn away everytime I tried to feed her something. XD
I still have those playsets, but sadly the Jeep doesn’t work anymore.
Oh, and did anyone else have the large sized Kelly that had a soft body and could be placed in a stroller? I had one during the year 2000, I believe. But I have no idea where she went! >.<'
Vivienne– I know I’m not Char, but, I’ll answer! Curly hair isn’t hard to take care of, you just need the sparkly hair pick! What you can do, is take a small section and twist is into a tight bun, hold it for, well, maybe 10 seconds, then let loose! You can also just wrap it around your finger. Finger styling is a really great technique.
Those Kelly dolls are so cute! I used to have a few Kelly’s, but I’m not quite sure what happened to them!

I don’t have any dolls with curly hair, but AGoverseasfan does, and she had a video about how she takes care of her Lanie doll’s hair. You pull the curl straight, brush it, and then let it bounce back, from what I remember. A bit of Downy spray or water would probably help keep them nice, too– just don’t soak it or the curl will come out.
That only works if the doll has looser curls like Lanie. If the curls are tight, like Cecile’s or the MyAG with the dark skin, brown eyes, and the short curly hair, you just want to leave it alone and not even use a hair pick on it– that’s what a worker at AG Place said when I asked about Cecile’s hair.
The Kelly dolls are so cute! I have a couple of the ones in the picture (the princess and the candy cane). The little alien with the purple hair is too funny!

Has anyone found out what that retired Josefina outfit is that I got yet? I really want to know. The skirt is really long with a lot of lace at the bottom and is deep red and yellow-flowered stripes long way, the hair tie is matching. The blouse is long-sleeved with two buttons and Velcro on the bottom of the sleeves too. The skirt also has elastic. I am making a movie now using the blouse and also Josefina’s skirt I got(?)

I had Kelly dolls when I was little! I had one that came with barbie, it was a preschool set. I had all kinds of doll sized school supplies! It was really cute. I’ve had way more than that, but I can’t remember the rest.

I use to have a kelly!!! she had brown hair and a cute pink and yellow trundle bed and it had a pink pillow that would flip over and had a tooth under it!!! XD and i like the little bunny!

I have about 20 Kelly dolls, I thought they were so cute and would make them be the students and the full sized barbies be the teachers! I still have all of them, and even remember what I used to call them! My favorite out of the ones above is the one in a cowboy outfit.
