I couldn’t stand it any longer… I just had to let you meet Amelia. She is the second in a series of historical dolls based on periods of British history from A Girl for All Time. Amelia is from London in the 1880′s – technically considered the Victorian age. Amelia arrived wearing her school dress and hat and her long blonde, wavy hair down. You can see some of the fly away bits that I missed that are caught in the sunlight.
Her school dress is divine – it is the perfect shade of blue with brown and white details and a little yellow bow at the back. Again, I will do a much more in depth review of Amelia and some of her outfits in the coming week, but I just had to share her with you now!
Reunited with her “Great, Great Grandmother” (there may be a few more greats in there – I need to double check her family tree) Matilda who was the first doll in the series. Matilda looks like she is telling Amelia some pretty important stuff – like gossip on the other dolls in my office.
More on Amelia, her story, her outfits and who can wear her amazing clothes coming throughout the next few weeks.
PS – the other giveaway I had planned for today will start tomorrow. I need to re do the photos for it.
