Can I just say that the Doll Diaries team is just as excited about the upcoming summer of Camp Doll Diaries as you are?
Yesterday afternoon my girls and I headed out for a little roadtrip – we were headed a few hours south to visit Laura at her “studio.” Since Laura created the Camp Doll Diaries logo for us this year, we decided that if we could get together for a few days we could get a lot of the Camp Doll Diaries printables ready for you, make some of the crafts, set up some scenes and just have a LOT of fun in the process.
Saige was already at Laura’s and we brought Julie, Paisley (MyAG #38) and Autumn (Madame Alexander) as our campers.
We made a little trip to A. C. Moore and used some Tulip Liquid Dye to make some clipboards for the counselors.
Julie got her key to her cabin – this is a quick and easy project using Collage Pauge that we will be sharing here soon.
We even set up the Camp Doll Diaries Canteen and store this morning using the Concession Stand from My Doll’s Life. Some of these items we will show you how to make yourself in coming weeks and some of it will you can just buy in the Doll Diaries Etsy store (like those cute glass pendants)
We have some really awesome projects planned using creative products from I Love to Create!
Laura has been hard at work this morning creating the printables so you can make the signs for the various areas of your doll camp area.
Aren’t these cool – layer them on felt (We are excited to be working with Kunin Group), canvas, scrapbook paper and add fun embellishments like Laura’s buttons from Buttons Galore and More – your doll camp space will come to life before you know it.
So stay tuned – we will be sharing more pre-camp crafts, activities and ideas in the weeks leading up to Camp Doll Diaries official kick off the week of June 2.
