You never know what little goodies for the dolls that you may find in your daily travels. Over the last few weeks we have picked up a few little gems for very little and they are great additions to our doll world.
In the dollar bins at Rite-Aid we found cute doll sized laundry baskets for $1.00. They had rectangular ones and tall round ones, too. I hope Kailey isn’t complaining about having to do her chores.
In the dollar aisle at Target we found cell phone holders that look like lawn chairs that are perfect for small dolls like Monster High. The phone holders were $1.00. The laptop was packaged as an eraser and is also $1.00.
In the doll aisle at Target there were quite a few finds – also known as Target’s summer clearance. The PlayWonder dolls are marked down to $17 and many other items were on clearance, too. Hearts for Hearts Girls dolls were not on clearance but some of their outfits were. We picked up Rahel’s school outfit for Lauryce for $8.48. It came with a doll sized soccer ball, a notepad, composition book and two pencils. Adorable!!!
Tomorrow is the half way point in the 100 Days of Doll Play – can you believe how fast the summer is flying by? I can’t wait to share some of the great ideas for play that we have planned for the second half of summer!

Char- I have a great idea for doll diaries. On a Friday or a chosen weekday, not Saturday or Sunday because people are usually booked and for the concept of this idea the more the merrier. We should have a live in craft blog chat! So it will work like this you will post up a blog about crafts for ag, tonner, kids n’ cats, barbie and so on dolls. Girls will comment under about how they did your crafts, how their doing your crafts, their own crafts, and how it turned out. It will be so exciting! You know a place for girls to share on doll diaries their crafts for dolls! It will be a blast! I could just imagine me and all other doll lovers of all ages, (isn’t that doll diaries slogan?) Eating whip cream shakes and sharing all their marvelous crafts! Please Reply:)
Everyone guess what? I got Consuelo from Hearts for Hearts Girls today! She’s so pretty! I love her!!!! She’s awesome quality. Does anyone know where to get clothes for them. I don’t care if you don’t answer. I’m so happy!!!!!! I love my new Consuelo Doll!

Cool! To add to that, at Dollar tree, they have cute doll sized-wastebaskets (for a $1!) in silver and black (I got a silver one) and my dolls love it! p.s. my elizabeth and lanie say “Hi” (and then kit, abby and gabby called them crazy)

Ashly – Target sells clothing packs for them and right now some of them are on clearance for less than $10. Our Lauryce looks adorable in Rahel’s School Outfit.

Another good one is Play food. They work well for doll food, and they sell for around 4 dollars a pack.

you can make a milkshake for dolls using a mini cup the size for your doll then put somthing foamy in. push it in till u have no more space to push it in. to make whip cream, just use maybe some manicure/pedicure foam. swirl it on the top and u r done! Happy crafting!

I love finding ordinary things that can be used for dolly accessories, found a shoe rack the other day that makes the perfect frame for doll bunk beds
I found a candle that looks like a jar of orange marmalade for my dolls and the best part is, it was only 25 cents!
