2009 Holiday Barbie

My older daughter has never really been into “playing” with dolls (definitely not as much as her younger sister), but she has this thing for collecting the Holiday Barbies. After seeing the 2009 Holiday Barbie, I’m pretty sure she is going to have it on her Christmas list again this year!

Barbie is wearing a pale pink and golden lame gown with an artfully wrapped bodice and gemstone-encrusted tulle skirt. She has chandelier earrings comes with a matching 50th anniversary ornament with golden ribbon to celebrate her 50th anniversary! The 2009 Holiday Barbie is not available until July 1, 2009.

    I get the holiday barbie for Christmas every year. This one is very pretty. I love the pink!

    Meh, a little too pink for me, and the dress seem like it would be a little revealing if looking from say a balcony, but over all I like her.

    Why do people hate pink stuff? Elizabeth’s pink meet dress . . . hate it, Barbie’s pink holiday dress . . . yuck. I think pink has been stereotyped as a stupid girly color so people repel it. I personally love everything pink – especially this holiday barbie. And I love the platinum blond hair!

    oh, lilly, i LOVE pink! especially that color pink on that barbie! i agree with you! i used 2 h8 pink cuz usually all the dumb girls in movies love it, but i’ve grown to adore it!

    But it should have more CHRISTMAS(uh,holiday can mean ANY holiday,hannuakah maybe? I don’t know…I think holiday means New Years and Christmas)and NEW YEAR color. Simply,just add more gold sparks. Overall I love it.
