Josefina an American Girl celebrated her birthday today. According to American Girl Doll Resources, she was born on March 19, 1815 and lived near Sante Fe, New Mexico.

Carpatina has some absolutely beautiful new items at their web site right now. My favorite is the 50’s polka dot dress for the vinyl dolls (pictured). I hope they decide to make this one for the 18″ soft body dolls, too - it would look amazing on our American Girl doll Marisol.
